Joshua West-Baby Poem
I really liked the last two lines of this poem-
"The beast is silenced and I am secured in her impermeable grasp. Peace and serenity wash over as I lie content in my victory."
I would suggest not using a religious comparison. That to me seems a little posey. Maybe if it is like a war to get the baby to be quiet. I work at a daycare and I know what a struggle is it to get a child to be happy. I think it woud be interesting to see another comparison used that would allow the baby to be the victor in the end.
